Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers use good judgment and not overload them or stack more than three high. A: Thanks for your question. The Drawers on the Sterilite 3 Drawer Medium Countertop unit can easily be removed by pushing both sides of the drawer inward, and pulling from the frame at the same time.

We have several (actually, lots) of a previous model, which is very similar to this one, but it does not have the ridges on the front of the drawers. The front of the drawers on the previous ones are smooth, but still a "nearly clear" translucent look. The great thing about our exiting units is that they stack quite well, and we can go 4-5 high with these, providing 12-15 drawers in each stack. The ridges on the front are an unfortunate design decision that doesn't help with anything, and hurts visibility of the products inside (which can have labels on them, easily visible through the clear version). But as least if they are exactly the same frame we can but more to keep adding to our "wall of drawers".

I wish there was a second color option since I have so many of these. They are great for medicine, computer cords/accessories and phone cord storage. The drawer hieght is nice with being tall anough for taller small items but not too tall so the unit takes up a lot of space.

I wanted to organize all the assorted bits of hardware a fixit person accumulates over the years---screws, angle brackets, staining pads, bits of ornamental chain, you name it. I had some cubbies built into my closet. This storage drawer fit the cubbies exactly, so I got 3 of them. I went through every single washer, bolt, and piece of miscellaneous I had and sorted it among the drawers. I then made labels for each drawer. Voila, I can now find the bit of hardware that's perfect for whatever I'm fixing in seconds instead of digging through overflowing bins.
