Weak material

Don’t waste your time buying this product. Only last maybe 4-6 months then the drawers start falling apart and the top starts caving inwards

Works

They work ok. They do put off a plastic smell that I’m going to have to try and scrub away with baking soda. Heavy items will make closing the drawers harder.

Hi Gretch! We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with your 3 Drawer Wide Weave Tower having a strong smell. Our Storage products are made of polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Not durable, and no replacement parts available!

I love these because they are lightweight, and the weaving pattern makes them look much more attractive, than the ones that are just clear. I do, however, hate how almost every single one I own, and I have a lot, the handles break off very easily, and also the tops cave in, without having an extreme amount of weight on it, so they aren't very durable. I would be happier if there was an option to order parts that need to be replaced. Since they don't, you have to buy a whole new one, if yours is damaged. I wouldn't recommend this, based on the fact that there aren't any replacement parts.

Cute and functional

These are cute and functional. My only complaint is I just bought 2 of these this week and the handle is already broken off on one of them. I would love to be able to replace it.

Would be 5-star if handles have a better design

I bought 9 of these to put in the closet for my kids. They look great, except the handles - 3 out of 9 were already broken after a few months. Can we get these broken handles replaced?

Almost long-lasting

I have several of these towers in my walk-in closet. They provide great storage at just the right width and height. However, the small gray pull handles have broken on a couple units. I am hoping to get replacements. They look like they just pop in and clip. I would love to just have to replace the handle versus replacing the whole tower because of a couple small snap-in pieces.

Are these BPA Free?

I'm looking to store dog food in this item and can't find any info confirming this is BPA Free.

Sturdy, affordable, and versatile.

I have used these modular drawer sets for about 8 years. I originally bought them as a temporary solution to kid toys after a move, but I have bought around 8 or 9 sets (including the thin version) and have them in three rooms of the house. I love how versatile they are and have some towers that are 2 drawers high and some that are 6, etc. As long as you have enough lids or an alternative to.cover them, you have a tone of options. No, you can not overbear them in weight and you can not place anything on the top unless you have a hard surface to cover the top (I have one that I've cut a piece of wood to place on top to support weight without the lid caving and warping. If a lid warps, put it outside on a warm day and place something heavy on it and it will flatten back out, then stop putting heavy stuff on top of it without modification. The only thing that has broken on all of my sets was one handle piece (I had the drawer packed a bit heavy and I broke it trying to force the drawer out). They are sturdy if you don't abuse them. Mine are approaching a decade of use by myself and my son... And we aren't the most gentle people, so I'd consider them sturdy. The only downside is inability to buy replacement pieces (like a broken handle) or extra tops to make more units with fewer drawers and I can't seem to find the white option. I was hoping to buy too more white ones, so I hope they aren't discontinued. All in all, however, a good purchase at a fair price.

Low Quality and not durable.

The material of these drawers are low quality and do not last long. I had them for only a while when it stopped being able to close and the plastic started to break. It was a waste of my money and do not recommend to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Worst investment made

I should have thought to look here at the reviews. I too had problems with my top drawer being unable to close. I did not place anything on top other than a pair of boots and this is what happened. The Unit is not as sturdy as Rubbermaid totes which are a more durable plastic. There is no reason for it to have broken in the back either. This is rather cheap and I would not recommend. Very nice look but cheap quality. It doesn't help the company does not offer replacement products. The drawers will last forever but the structure itself will not last.

Replacement Pieces?

When I received this product, I thought it would be great for my storage needs! I had set some things on top of it (nothing terribly heavy), but the top began to sink in and it makes it nearly impossible to open and shut the top drawer smoothly. Hopped online to see if I can find a replacement top piece for it, and looks like I am out of luck!

Drawers very difficult to slide in and out when anything more than a few lightweight items inside.

I bought several of these drawers, pleased with the look and the cost. But I am very dissatisfied with how they function. The drawers are very difficult to slide in and out when there is anything but the very lightest of items. The drawers are not well supported or guided so that they can be opened and closed exascept with great difficulty. I basically wasted my money because they function so poorly!
