The quilt was beautiful! It was so soft and exactly as described. The color was spot on too! After carefully reading the wash instructions to wash on cold and tumble dry, I did exactly. Only to find out my dryer turned EXTREMELY BLUE! Washer did too but not as bad. I would have given it more stars if it hadn’t had screwed me over in doing laundry now. Too scared to even but it back on my bed with my egg shell colored sheets. It’s a beautiful light weight quilt but DO NOT GET IT IN BLUE! And do not wash it, take it to the cleaners though the tag doesn’t say dry clean only. Now I’m stuck with a quilt that will probably turn everything blue, and appliances that will also turn my laundry blue now. I did see another reviewer had the same issue too, should have listened. I got it to come out a little but after countless techniques and cleaning products I still have blue interior appliances. Oh and it also turned my white cat a very light shade of blue! Wonderful....

Another great blanket by OpalHouse! I purchased the gray option as a neutral touch to my room. Love the patterned stitching and the dye variation within the pattern! Seeking a blanket at least with cotton fill this was a great option. They polyester covering is VERY, very soft and feels like cotton. Very nice to the tough and snuggly. I prefer clinging natural fibers for my bedding and while this is a thinner blanket when layered upon a thin wool blanket it's perfect for cold nights. Because this is a 'quilted' style blanket there's no sliding off the bed found in the more satiny, heavier blankets. It will be perfect for the fall summer! Great blanket for those who do not prefer bulk, or prefer to layer as I do. I am going to have professionally cleaned as I have heard the color can fade easily.

This quilt is very light, well stitched, lays smooth, and the color blush is beautiful. I have two others, egg plant and marigold. They wash well, colors remain rich and beautiful. Tip...use cold water and a splash of vinegar to hold fast those deep colors. Have had no problems with color rubbing off or bleeding into laundry, like other reviews. However, I do wash separately to be on the safe side. The price is right, too!!!!

Lots of loose threads going from one pattern to another. I ordered another but had the same problem. Also the color (teal wave) comes off on white sheets. I have not washed it yet - I'm nervous, but plan on washing in cold water with vinegar. Employee at customer service reassured me I can return the item for any reason even after washed, if theres a problem.
