I think it's best to go into this one knowing as little as possible, so l'm not going to say too much. But I really liked this book & I could not put it down! Sally was such a unique character, due to her unusual upbringing. And that's pretty clear in the beginning, but you will never guess where the story ends up taking you! This is a dark at times/suspense/true crime/mystery/ with a twinge of thriller & will keep you on your toes from the beginning & just needing to know more! The writing is sharp & clever in a way that makes the darkness compelling, rather than overwhelming. And amidst that darkness, humor shines through-thanks to Sally's unfiltered thoughts & feelings. Her straightforwardness provides a much-needed silliness, making the story more engaging & relatable. Definitely recommend this one!
