Studio End / Printer Table - Honey - Winsome

Recently bought the Winsome 4 Drawers Studio File Cabinet Honey Brown, and was so impressed by the quality that I bought this Winsome Studio End/Printer Table. But they are two different worlds. The Winsome Cabinet is full length long boards of solid wood glued with no finger-joints, just as seen in the photos, and the engineering of it was spot-on perfect. I put it together alone with no problem, but I have worked with wood for years. That being said: the Winsome Studio End/Printer Table that I received is NOT what you see in the photos. (1) The lower shelf is NOT one solid wood panel of glued boards (as seen in the photo) but instead is a box frame with a plywood insert. (2) The side boards along the table top are not solid wood, but instead are manufactured wood i.e. composite boards with a veneer. (3) The table top is NOT full length long boards of solid wood glued together (as seen in the photo) but instead each and every board is made up of shorter finger-jointed boards which is not as attractive as the table top seen in the photo.(4) One of the table legs has a few small dents that were done after the Honey Stain was applied and left white spots and marks where the dents are, but it seems to have passed Winsome's Quality Control, probably because they figured I would put it facing the back wall and as such, will not be seen, but still.......this is their idea of Quality?! I am giong to keep it because it is designed well, functionally sound, and reasonably priced, but BUYER BEWARE: it is NOT what you see in the photos!!!!!!

The little shelf under the drawer was too small to fit on dowels. Returned. Otherwise, seemed like a solid nice end table.

Excellent table except for the height I took 2.5 off the legs and now it's perfect as an office side table with a printer below

This is such a functional table and works nicely with the rest of my furniture. Using this to hold my large copier and everyone loves it.
