SUGIFT 13.2 Gal Stainless Steel Trash Can Step-on Trash Can with Lid

I had this 13 Gallon trash can and was sooooo excited to be upgrading to one that could maybe last a whole week, without changing the bag, in my four person house. We don't have trash pick we have to go to the dump which can be challenging during the work week. This trash can is the perfect size, it works great with the brand name 30 gallon bags, bag still doesn't show, not too heavy when full! The motion sensor works great so far, super convenient and much more sanitary. Trash can doesn't stink, definitely recommend!

So I have had my Ninestars trash can for exactly one year as of Aug.23 2017. My first lid the sensor quit working about 8mos after our purchase. I contacted CS and they were happy to help and sent a replacement at no charge within a matter of days. 5 months after this to today I am having to have the lid replaced again. For some reason the sensor goes out and no matter what we try to reset it, it does not work. They will be sending another replacement at no charge. I am just happy that they do offer a 2yr warranty and no charge for S/H for replacement parts! Thats keeping customers happy like me! Thank you Ninestars!!!

Owned this since 2017. Has worked perfectly and only have had to change the batteries maybe once a year. I recently came back to look at the reviews because after changing the bin and cleaning it one day my husband pulled the lid up and since then it wouldn’t sensor open. Read the QandA to hold the close button for 5 seconds and boom back to working with sensor I highly recommend this trash can even 3 years later. Also by 30 gallon trash bags from the grocery store. No need to buy the ones online.

Okay, this can is bigger than the others, holds a little bit more. We have three kids, we like that. This is our second one, we put the older one in the game room and put the new one in our kitchen. We've had our first ones for a few years now, and it's still working. A few dents from moving, but it still works. :) We would recommend. Especially for the price... under $60 is great!

I will never live with a trash can again that doesn't automatically open. This one 100% opens every time and closes after a perfect delay to pitch trash. The batteries you furnish yourself will last for years too, even the off brand ones will work for at least 6 months. This will be forever in my kitchen as a winner!

It works great when you have you hands full to have a lid that will flip up . the only down side I can find is mine is in a close space next to a door way we go though all the time. So when i walk by swing my arms ou it opens the trash lid.

I love this trash can. The original one was lost during shipping but they quickly resent another at no cost to me. It holds so much and the thing I love the most is the batteries last FOREVER no matter what brand is used, I think I had mine in for a year with heavy use daily. I’m still on my original 1st one but If for any reason it should break I’m repurchasing this one again.

This is the third one I have purchased. Still have the other two, they are so well made that they last! Love this motionless trash can! So convenient and great size. Only have to take the trash out once a week.

This is the best trashcan I've ever had! The appearance is stunning, who would've thought a trashcan could be so easy on the eyes!?I bought 30 gallon bags from Walmart and they fit perfect. Because of the ring that fits under the lid on the can, any size of large bags would work. You can tuck the bag snug and discrete around the ring and it doesn't show from the outside after the lid is on. You also never have to worry about you bag falling in when you put something heavy in the trash!The motion sensor is perfect and the lid only opens when you gesture close and above the trash. It also has open and shut buttons, but they really aren't necessary; the sensor is handsfree and the most sanitary option.This can is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend!!

I can't say enough good things about this trash can!!! I know, I know, it's just a trash can! But seriously, I LOVE IT!!! I was in the market for a new trash can that looked nice, but would also function like I needed it to. I have 2 Great Danes that think the trash can is their personal buffet!!! It's incredibly frustrating!!! The sensor on this makes the can lid go up when the dogs get their nose too close to it. Which then TOTALLY freaks them out and they tuck tail and run!! Mission accomplished! That is my favorite thing about this can, but I will list some other pros and cons (although there aren't many)Pros:1. Large capacity2. Lid sits flush when closed so the dogs can't get their nose under it to open it3. Can be used with the sensor or in manual mode4. Traps in odors really well...there can be something super smelly in the trash and I don't smell it unless the lid is open!5. Surface is easily cleaned6. Ring under lid hold bag in place and keeps it from slipping down7. In the event the sensor/motor on the lid stops working it will still be beneficial to me since the dogs still can't get to it!8. Batteries have lasted at least 6 months now with no sign of slowing down.Cons (More like minor flaws..not deal breakers at all)1. Bag size was hard to find for me at my local store. So, I just use a 33 gallon bag. It's a little big, but it works fine.2. You have to be carful to make sure your remove the ring from under the lid BEFORE you close the trash bag to take it out. Otherwise, the ring will end up inside the trash bag! Fishing that out is NO FUN!!! Especially if you don't realize it before your kiddo takes it to the dumpster!!!3. The bag tends to get stuck in the can if you fill it too full. It can be a 2 person job sometimes to get it out!4. The sensor is pretty sensitive. I have mine in an area that when I walk past it, my arm tends to swing over the top of it and it opens. Not a big deal, just annoying sometimes.

Super amazing trash can! The battery is starting to seem like they are going out but it’s been over a year since we got this trash can!! Everyone loves it. It keeps the smell in really well, you smell the trash when the lid opens but that’s a given. It also has 2 buttons on it, so if you need to keep the lid open, you press the open button and it stays open until you press the close button. Helps out a lot when cleaning or cooking.

I had this for about 3 years before my movers broke it. I forgot which one I bought so that I could replace it. Ended up getting a different brand and it only lasted 3wks before the lid wouldn't open, even with a fresh set of batteries!!!! About to purchase another one of these. They last!!! We have 6 people in our family so the trashcan is constantly being used and never gave us any issues! Don't go with another brand and throw your money away like I did!

I absolutely love this new trashcan. I love the motion sensor, it works very well. I had to downgraded the battery life, because I've had it for a short time and I am not sure how long it would last so I didn't want to miss lead anyone. It is so big and holds so much, but you wouldn't believe it because it doesn't take up that much space and it looks very clean and nice and holds odors in.

A very large can (20 gal), and $80 is a bargain considering they are usually $100+ for 13 gallons. The touch less lid is awesome and works great. The only concern is durability of use. Start date is 5/8/14, I will edit this review if/when the lid fails.update 10/11/17: This is such a large can that it can take awhile to fill. Without going into a long story, fruit flies lead to the lid being ruined and I threw it out. I did not hesitate to purchase the same trash can again as it works flawlessly. To avoid a repeat of the issue, I now take produce waste out to the dumpster instead of letting it sit for 3 weeks waiting for the can to fill.

We've had this can for almost 4 years and it's been awesome! It looks really nice and fits our town's large trash bags perfectly. We bought it when our kids were 1 and 3 (now 4 and 6) and they've put it to the test by constantly pulling on the lid as the motor was running and it still works like new. We open and close it dozens of times a day and have only had to replace the batteries every 15 months or so. Highly recommend!

This is a high quality product for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this trash can to anyone who is looking for a hands-off open/close unit. However, I am most impressed by the customer support provided by this company/vendor. I had communications with the company about an exchange because the original trash can was too large for my application. The company came thru for me. Easy, painless. I will definitely buy again from this vendor w/o reservation and I highly recommend them to any one looking for products on their portfolio. We have 2 of these trash cans, 1 for trash and 1 for recyclebles.We purchased these cans because of the size, and they're great for the kitchen, they also look nice, they have an automatic lid and they're stylish. Oh lets not forget that the price is very low for the long lasting quaality this trash recepticle (we also have a 3rd one that has been use outside for many years.)

I was looking for a large kitchen trashcan to take the place of our outside-type can we had been using. I researched and found this to be the largest with battery operated automatic lid. It's great, and no more lid falling with a loud bang, plus I can still use the large bags I still have from the other can. So what if a little overhang of black plastic bag is showing. I'll get smaller bags eventually (these are 30-33 gallon bags and this can will take 20 something which you can't buy at the market). The auto lid is working fine and the whole thing has been a real good change. It looks nice in the kitchen, too.:)

I absolutely love the motion detector, when my hands are full and when I am emptying my sweeper cup it makes my life just a little bit easier. I also love the rim that holds the bag in place.
