Keeps shutting off, defective design
Mowing along and it will just shut off randomly. The safety switches aren't designed correctly. Don't waste your money.

BAD BAD MOWER
My husband bought this for me because I LOVE Sun Joe and Snow Joe products, I have several of them from a snow blower to the outside vacum, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. But these lawn mowers are the worst things I have ever seen, the handle grip needs to be gripped soooo tight I have to use a velcro strap on them to keep this stupid thing running, and the turn radius is so small that even turning the thing around cuts it off. Don't waist your money this mower all it will do is aggravate you.

Nice Mower . . . BUT, Horrible Power Switch!!!
Plenty of power to do the mowing I need when I can keep it running. Batteries hold a charge, but the switches on the handle are horrible. I have a huge yard so do most of the mowing on a riding mower. I've tried to use this mower to touch up around gardens and trees. Had it for one year. From the beginning the switch was hard to engage and was VERY easy to let slip. Now, after slipping three to four times, it won't reengage for several minutes. Would call for warranty service, but I REALLY don't want this switch system back. Sigh.

Is great easy to put together just got to use it yesterday . And works fine. But im thinking you might want to get 5.0 ah batteties other than that works great. Plus make sure grass is good and dry. For big lawns like half acre i woul say get the 21 inch self propel joe but nothing wrong with ths one. 😎 Captain Louie

Love it! Quiet and powerful, almost fun to use.
I have a big property and run over all kinds of items. This thing is great, if I have to walk somewhere I just push the Joe along and clean up leaves and what not. It's just great. Only thing is the activation switches, you have to hold them the whole time and it sometimes will go off because you're not holding it tight enough. I use a small bungie and am able to slide it on and off one the right switch and that helps.

electric mower is the best purchase I have made
I purchased the electric mower for our lake house in Upper Michigan. it's only 3 acres and half is woods and house. I know I spend more time than my husband when he is here but it's a good work out, you get something done and I first thought this was good for little patches of property in the city but it will keep up with the push gas mower. I just have extra batteries so I can keep going. It's also light enough for me to move and lift and carry and most of all maneuver around trees etc.

BEST INVENTION EVER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical about a battery powered lawn mower for many different reasons. Needless to say I am beyond impressed! I was able to use the mower once before the first snowfall. I mowed the entire yard, and then used the bag to pick up the clippings and all of the leaves. The blades are nice and sharp, the mower is light to push, and best of all I got all of that done on 2 fully charged batteries! Wish I would have gotten this years ago!

Best Electric Lawn Mower out there!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with this rechargeable electric lawn mower. I no longer have to worry about having gas or pulling a cord over and over again to start up a lawn mower. This set comes with two 24v rechargeable batteries. They are very easy to charge and takes less than 2 hours to fully charge them. I am able to do my whole backyard on just one time charge. This lawn mower is lightweight and extremely easy to use. Even my wife compliment how easy it is to use and feels like she can do it on her own no problem. Great product!!!

At least for the small areas that need to be push mowed around my house. Lightweight and easy to get around, this makes mowing some of my akward hills a breeze. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a cordless lawn mower is life changing. It comes with two 24 volt batteries to give you enough juice to get your yard done. I have only needed to use one battery at a time while mowing mine. The battery charger can charge both at the same time and in less than 2 hours. I was skeptical at first with how long a battery would last but it is well worth the purchase! No more dealing with gas and fumes. The mower cuts great and comes with a 12 gallon bag to collect your clippings. You can see when it is getting full and needs to be emptied. It is very light weight and the handle folds down for easy storage or to travel with. Very easy to push and has 6 adjustable heights. Definitely recommend this mower to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was leary about the usability of a battery operated lawn mower. But this Sun Joe surprised me because it did have a good bit of power. It was easy to assemble out of the box with easy to follow instructions. I thought 1 1/2 hours for charging the batteries wasn't too long. The handle has a nice comforting design to grip. It's nice not having to pull the cord to get the lawn mower started. The mower is lightweight so it's easy to push around. Which is nice the older you get, it takes less effort. The collection bag is on the smaller side, at just 12 gallons. It has 6 adjustable settings. The blades are sharp and cut well. Overall I'm happy with the performance of this Sun Joe lawn mower. It makes it easier to give the lawn a quick mow or spot mow certain areas that need it.

A nice option in addition to a gas mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very interested in this battery operated mower because my 20 year old gas mower started leaking gas and smelling up my garage. When it arrived, my husband was able to easily assemble it from the box. I will say that it is light weight and starts very easily..no pulling cords anymore. It's also nice to not be smelling fumes as you mow. Instead of remembering to fill a gas can, I have to remember to charge the battery. My old mower was a mulcher, and due to the size of my lawn I liked that feature a lot. I think the bag that comes with this mower is pretty small. I'm not ready to toss away my old mower just yet, but I welcome this SunJoe into my garage.

Great power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very hesitant to use the battery operated lawnmower thinking that the power would not be great and I also had a feeling that the battery would drain quickly but this Sun Joe lawnmower changed my views. Especially when it’s something related to clean energy I am very glad that I gave a try. This is perfect for my lawn. The power is great. I am very happy about the ergonomic handle design. The batteries can be charged in 1 and half hours. Assembly was very easy. I initially was worried how long would it take but it was super easy! It’s light weight and can be easily stored in my garage. It has a 12 gallon collection bag. There is a 6 position height adjustable setting. The handle grip is great! 2 batteries can be charged at once. The blades are sharp and cuts well. I tried cutting my lawn on a dry sunny day just to check how it works! And I was very happy and satisfied by the performance. Great battery operated lawnmower. No more hassles if filling gas or struggling with cords!
