Application is simple. First remove excess snow from the surface, then apply a thin, even layer of ice melt across the area. For thicker ice or packed snow, additional product can be applied as needed. After the ice melts, sweep away any remaining material. Any unused dry salt can be reused, helping reduce waste.
One bag provides coverage for approximately 500 square feet, making it suitable for sidewalks, entryways, steps, and smaller driveways. For best results, it can also be applied ahead of winter storms to help prevent ice buildup and make snow removal easier.
