Q: how much should the stand weigh?

A: There isn't a certain weight requirement for the stand for the umbrella, however this umbrella is meant to be put through a table with the umbrella stand underneath as well. The diameter of the pole is 1.5 inches.

I like the navy stripe pattern but would not have purchased had I known the material would be shiny and plastic-like. It looks far lower-quality in peson but it's too much of a hassle to return since my husband already set it up. Was hoping for more of a canvas/cotton look.

Very thin fabric, I paid double what I normally do to get an umbrella that would not fade in one year…. Not sure about fading but fabric is so thin the sun comes thru.

I loved the initial color but it definitely faded in the Georgia sun. It has held up pretty well overall. I have purchased two and one will no longer stay upright. It is within the year of purchase so I may be able to apply the warranty. Overall, a good purchase.

Got it today, No Damage! In my opinion, it’s Huge and Sturdy. There’s a button to tilt it, It’s in my yard now and it’s very windy. So far so good, it’s holding up! This one doesn’t have solar lights, But It doesn’t matter to me, I’m not gonna spend an extra $25 for lights. I already have yard Lighting, so it’s all Good! I’ll update if it breaks or falls apart, but it’ll probably be due to the harsh winds, but I should be smart, close it up and put it away until spring.

The terrible wind storms recently really did a number on my outdoor furniture. I ordered this umbrella and it came within a week. It’s sturdy and matches my cushions exactly. Price was a deal also.

We’re very happy with our purchase. The umbrella looks good, is stable enough to use in a base without a table and covers an area wide enough to provide shade in a very sunny area of our patio. The tilt feature is easy to use. We had looked at a number of umbrella brands before deciding on this one. The construction, the style and the price sealed the deal. We’re considering buying a second one of the same style.

Easy to use and very beautiful. Package arrived with some damage. Option to get the part replaced or to exchange for a new one were not an option. We could get a full refund and return it and still be without shade for the back yard. We waited over a week for it to arrive. Also the description says it has the solar lights, it doesnt. This is the cheaper version of the more expensive one, wish I would have looked at the photos more to see it didnt have them. Spend the extra money and grab that solar light one. I would recommend this product still to a friend, but be aware of the return/refund options being from a third party and not Target.
