Effective and allergy-friendly Folate
This folate seems to be reversing some of the neuropathy in my legs. And it has not triggered my food sensitivity reaction that I have to many pills/capsules. I definitely recommend it.

OVER PACKAGED!
I just received my first order, so the jury is out for a review of the product. However, the packaging is another story. I pay attention to my carbon footprint on many levels and admittedly, a pet peeve is over-packaging. I shop many items in "bulk" so as to avoid the packaging, branding and excess packaging waste. There may be reason for the oversized bottle for 30 tablets that I don't understand, however, there is enough room in the bottle for 100 capsules, for which I would be willing to pay $20 and feel more like a good steward of our environment. In addition, previously my orders have come in a small cardboard box, which is both re-usable and re-cyclable. This shipment came in a plastic bag, which is neither.

Wrong size bottle
These 30 tablets take up maybe a quarter of this small bottle. Please have this size bottle hold at least 60 capsules. This is wasting resources. This is a good product & would be a 5-Leaf rating in all categories if not for this issue.

Be My Folate
This is an essential vitamin for people that often we are short on. Most versions of folate are not usable by the body, and even unhealthful. This is the good stuff, and I appreciate the price and the small little capsule. Easy to take.

Maybe good but
outer seal is wasteful, un necessary. Contains Magnesium stearate = trans fat plant glue, bottle is only 20% full. I hope the product is good otherwise.

My favorite source of Methyl Folate
Genetic testing showed that my body cannot convert the various forms of folate found in food and in most supplements to the active form, methy-tetra- hydro-folate, or methyl folate for short, as efficiently as can people without the genetic variants. These variants are not rare. Methyl folate is the form needed by the brain. My doctor recommended taking folate in the MTHF (or methyl folate) form. I prefer this Swanson brand because it contains the patented and tested Quadrefolic TM and is priced well, especially during sales.
