Relieves dry, itchy skin
The product was recommended by my dermatologist to help dry, itchy "winter skin." It seemed to kick in alleviate the problem. But after about a week, so did spring with drenching rains and high humidity, so It was hard to judge where the relief came from. But I believe strongly enough in the relief I experience to continue the therapy.

Strengthens fragile capillaries
Way back in the early 1980's, I developed fragile capillaries.They were hemorrhaging. Bioflavonoids strengthened my capillaries. I've taken it ever since & have not had hemorrhaging capillaries since.

Great vascular health and immunity booster. I could not be happier I found this.
When I don't take this (one 3X/day) I notice that I have more frequent hot flashes. . . for me it really works. I have been on it 8 yrs, ever since I was taken of HRT due to Estrogen+ B/C. Another plus: I have only been sick one time (flu) in 8 yrs. I believe it boosts my immunity. I try never to run out.

Caveat: bitter orange called bioflavonoid
I thought i bought a great "bioflavonoid complex" (Vitamin P discovered also by Nobel prize winner Szentgyorgyi) a great addition to Vita C. However i did not read the label carefully enough. It is not bioflavonoid which is a very broad term covering lotta fruits and active agents with high nutritional value but bitter orange in particular (some 95%). Makes a HUGE difference. Google. Name n label is misleading. Sad.

I thought i bought a great bioflavonoid (Vitamin P discovered also by Szentgyorgyi) a great addition to Vita C. However i did not read the label carefully enough and the name of the product is misleading. Bitter orange in contrast to "regular orange" or lime is a quite ambiguous herb b/c some people can't bear it especially those with certain conditions or just drinking (lotta) coffee. So better you investigate first or go for a non-bitter-orange product. The "Complex" is basically bitter orange not bioflavonoids in general so the product name is misleading and that is a risk.

Wouldn't be w/out it. Best one on the market. Best value.....most mg., in a capsule instead of a hard tablet, most product for the lowest price. Can't lose! We've kept it on hand for decades. It has some invaluable health benefts.

Now a Poor Product!
This WAS a great product and I bought it from Swanson for 20 years. It WAS made from orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangerine. NOW it's made from bitter orange. I don't feel it's safe to eat bitter orange. I will no longer buy this product from Swanson. Maybe it's Swanson's new owners? First time I've been disappointed in Swanson in over 20 years! Prices have shot up a lot with the new owners of Swanson.
