Q: The bottle I received says magnesium stearate in the ingredients, not glycinate. Are these the same thing?

A: Magnesium stearate is not the source of magnesium, it is an added ingredient used in the making of the capsules. Magnesium glycinate (bisglycinate) is listed as the source of magnesium.

Tastes of Mildew
There is something deeply wrong with the product I received. It tastes (and smells) musty and reminiscent of mildew or old clothing. I am horrified.

Capsules Too Big
I like them I think they work well but they’re hard to swallow even when I drink a full bottle of water with them. I’ve ended up burping up the dust many times.

Reformulated?
A long time user of this product. I had switched brands over the past few months and decided to resume Nature Made. I took it without much thought but instantly got a taste and smell like it was musty or mildew like. The next morning was unpleasant with additional trips to the bathroom. This is very different than my past experiences with this product. Has it been reformulated?

good for sleep
One capsule is 100 mg. I started with two capsules for a month but even the first few days my sleep improved. I take just one before bed now and my sleep has consistently been much better. Studies show it also helps to lower your blood pressure but the improvement in my BP is more from my improved sleep than a direct effect at this dose. I am an advanced healthcare practitioner and I recommend Mg glycinate to all my patients who have difficulty with sleep onset and maintenance.

Ok. This review isn’t about the vitamins per se It’s about the fact that the bottle I picked up was actually tampered with. The horror and disappointing gasped in anger was Oscar worthy. I’m returning it asap

Love this product but new formula is not good
I have been taking this magnesium glycinate for a while and just ordered more but the new bottle I got looks different than usual and has a strange taste. Was there a reformulation? I am disappointed in the differences and wish the old formula would come back.

Pill too large
I’m satisfied with the product but like many others have said, the capsule is WAY too large. Today it got stuck in my throat and I was gagging on repeat. I thought it was completely stuck but finally went down. It was very scary. Please make these pills smaller. It’s dangerous.

Pills are HUGE!
I agree with all the posters about how big these capsules are! Because the bottle is brown you can't see how big these are until you open it. Can you make them smaller or make them 100mg and take a couple at a time ? I have choked more than once trying to get these down and am frightened that it will get stuck. I see where you say they can be opened and mixed with yogurt or applesauce, I will try that if you say that doesn't change the effectiveness of the magnesium or how it is absorbed.
