Superior to Bilberry
I have taken Bilberry since 2008 and it had immediate results to vastly reduce my astigmatism in my weak eye. SO much so that my flight physician who said Id have to have glasses in two years was amazed that my weak eye did NOT get worse for 10 years! BUT, suddenly Swanson introduced Black Current Extract (now I had increased my original dose of 2 bilberry capsules a day up to 4 per day by 2018). I saw that it had a higher concentration and supposedly was more effective so I immediately ordered some to try out. I have been taking 2 Black Current Extract capsules per day ever since and it was indeed more effective then 4 of the Swanson Standardized Bilberry Extract! I highly recommend it and I supplement it with a daily does of Zeazanthin/lutein capsules.

I do recommend SBCE.
This product could be reason as a Macular Degeneration Treatment. Noticing dramatic differences since using SBCE.

Excellent Quality!
This must be one of the highest quality & most potent blackcurrant extract on the market. Standardized to 35% anthocyanins from Just the Berries ltd. Ive seen good results while taking this & much affordable compared to other NZ blackcurrant extract brands. 5 Stars for me!

Such Good Quality!
I have looked everywhere for a standardized Black Currant extract and Swanson is the only place I can get a quality one. This is excellent for vision, circulation, and a host of other benefits and so happy to have found this item. I have only been taking this for a couple weeks and already I notice positive effects with my vision and even my skin. Will definitely keep taking this brand forever A++++++

I've only taken this for about a month after reading the review that black currant is also good for eye health. I have taken Black Currant oil in the past, and the added benefit for eyes is a bonus. So far, so good.

Noticed Results
I tried this herb based on the info supplied on the Swanson website and have not been disappointed. I had been struggling with some eye issues and after regularly taking this product my eyes just feel much better overall.

I included this Swanson Superior Herbs Black Currant Extract in my daily nutritional supplement program, along with several other natural nutrients purported to be beneficial to eye health and vision. I buy them all from Swanson Health Products, of course, and all at reasonable prices. My Eye Health and Vision are extra important to me, so I do everything I can for optimum protection, nourishment, and maintenance. I read a glowing report in Swanson's Catalog about this Black Currant Extract. It sounded so good that I wanted to give it a try. Since adding this Black Currant Extract product to my daily regimen, I am very pleased with my continued excellent youthful eye health and vision 24/7. Nice small, easy to swallow capsule, too. Works for me.

My Eyes Improved
Since I have been using the black current extract together with the Swanson Ultra Synergistic Eye Formula Lutein & Zeaxanthin, my light sensitivity has been greatly reduced. The last time I had my eyes examined, including a variety of ocular tests, the doctor told me they looked better than last year.

Night Vision
I have been taking Black Currant Extract (Cassis) for about a year to improve my night vision. I believe it has helped me. At $7.59 a month, I have to see noticeable results in order to continue taking it. I haven't seen it on sale or as a BOGO.
