    Inositol for OCD

    I got this to try for help in managing OCD symptoms. I can't tell a major difference, but I figure it can't hurt. Worth a try. Easy to take.

    This Inositol is affordable and great value. I noticed that this did help lower blood glucose. I took readings on myself and also my mom just to compare the before and after. I'm not a diabetic, but I wanted to try it out to see how if it would affect my sugar levels. These capsules are not difficult to swallow. This also provided some relief for stress for me.

    Terrible side effects

    I was hopeful buying this product, because of the reviews but I'm very regretful for doing so. Unfortunately, this supplement gave me the worst side effects imaginable. I've been experiencing stomach flu like symptoms for the last 48 hours due to taking these. Diarrhea, headache, vertigo, vomiting, chills, rapid heartbeat (112bpm laying down, at rest), ringing of the ears, etc. I'm not sure if the dosage is too high for me, or if I just can't tolerate them. I will be returning the product.

    PCOS Miracle Worker

    I have PCOS and had been on cycle for so long, and so heavy that I had to have a blood transfusion. I took Provera for 10 days, and on day 12 my cycle started right back up. I felt so defeated,like I was going to bleed to death. I was looking through my vitamins for the iron tablets, and found these - I had forgotten I bought them. I started taking them that night with the iron and vitamin C and the next day my cycle was MUCH lighter, and stopped completely the next day. They hormone regulation effects of Inositol saved my life. I take one, twice daily, and will the rest of my life.

    Result: Negative Results after 3 months!

    As luck would have it, things do not always workas they should. I tried the Inositol for 3 months and then had my blood drawn to see what the results were. My cholesterol went up 9 points, Triglycerides increased 70 points, VLDL went up 14 points, LDL/HDL Ratio went up .7 and the LDL Choester Calc went down 1 point and the HDL Cholesterol went down 6 points. So everything went the exact opposite of what it should have so no ore Inositol for me.

    Happy I took a chance on this!!!

    I purchased this on a whim and I'm sold! I take as directed a couple of hours before bed and started feeling the full effects after 5 days. If you are considering this, read up on the scientific studies and give it a try. I'm glad I did!

    Helps me sleep

    I don't usually write reviews on vitamins because I'm often not sure if they do what they say. This product helps me and my husband get to sleep and go back to sleep if we wake up during the night. It's a great product at a very low price.

    Swanson's Inositol

    Surprisingly enough, this actually does seem to help calm me down and relax the mind. I take it with Valerian Root (also available here at Swanson), about half an hour before bed. I do seem to sleep better when taking this.

    Inositol really seems to be helping with calming my obsessive thinking. I turned my sister and a friend onto it and it has been helping them too. If you are a worry wart or have thoughts that go round and round in your head I would highly recommend that you try it!

    Great for Mental Health

    Inositol is great, inexpensive and safe for calming, stress reduction and sleep. I take 4 grams a day, in 3 doses. It takes the edge off. Life seems less intense. Some people need to take a lot more to see benefits.
