Liposan choking hazard
I think they're a choking hazard since they changed from capsules, probably to save a few dollars. would not recommend these to anyone.

Do not like as well as the NOW brand of Chitosan with Chromium.
These are ok. I prefer the NOW Chitosan with Chromium better. They come in capsules. They also have a higher amount of Chitosan. The LipoSan Ultra is a caplet, not as easy to swallow. I will continue to purchase the NOW brand Chitosan.

Better than gel caps
Gel caps are likley to have an unpleasant "kick back" flavor. These hard capsules do not.

Disappointment
I've purchased Chitosan for years and was happy with the capsules. The last time I ordered Chitosan I received the caplets which are so hard and difficult to swallow. I don't think they dissolve very fast either. I'm very disappointed and won't be reordering these in the future.

Dissapointed
i neglected to read the new label. This is a different formulation from what I bought for many years.It is a firm tablet which is difficult to swallow. I can chew it sometimes .

New LipoSan Ultra - what a disappointment!!!
Got the new LipoSan Ultra Chitosan and what a disappointment!!! Swanson changed it from plastic capsules (which dissolve faster and are way much easier to swallow), to these huge HARD DRY TABLETS. The label says CAPSULES, but that’s NOT TRUE. Here’s a picture that proves what I say. Swanson, please change them back to plastic capsules.
