Too Pessimistic for Little Kids

The book was so negative. I assumed it would have been cute, learning to get over bad moods, but it was NOT. It hyper-focused on being negative and stewing in your bad mood & then out of the blue the main character chose not to get upset again, without any rhyme or reason. The entire story focused on how he chose to be upset until he didn’t even know why he was upset. NOT for children.

This book is a little odd for little kids .. why do they have to incorporate despressing things and anger in kids’ minds nowadays? This book talks about a kid being upset for no reason and getting over it for no reason. It doesn’t show problem resolution so it’s like a bad movie with a confusing ending, and definitely not even cutesy. I will most definitely be returning, my child doesn’t need this in his collection.
