Totally moldy and inedible. Along with the mushy cucumbers we received this week we’re not impressed with the Target drive up on Maui this month. Check your perishables before you drive away!

I’ve purchased this corn in years past and have been happy with the quality, but the corn we recently bought was not good and spoiled which is hard to see until you get home and take it out if the package.

OMG this is the best tasting sweet corn ever!! I took 2 packs of sweet corn over to a friend's house for an Easter barbecue. She boiled the sweet corn first. Then she put it on the grill. Everyone raved about the sweet corn. Try it!!

The last two times I’ve purchased the corn it’s been spoiled and very old. Be careful not to eat it if you see that the sides are completely moldy and brown.

The same night it was purchased, I opened the package cause I saw some white residue. Yup, the ends you can't see unless the package is opened was extremely moldy. I've purchased this in the past from Vons and it took a week or more for the corn to mold. Target, do better than sell a moldy brand.

From the outside of the package, the corn looked fine (albeit, a little pale but noticed nothing else outside the ordinary). When I opened it up, every single cob was moldy on the end, and the kernels were “gummy.” I tried to cut off the ends and salvage what I could, but the taste was off and I threw them away. This doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident, as there are many reviews that mention mold. I love target, but suggest you get your corn elsewhere.

I did a pick up order and I’m very disappointed that associates aren’t trained well to identify bad quality. If you wouldn’t buy it, don’t put them in my bags.

Frankly, I was surprised at the quality of this corn. I consider myself quite the  cornnoisseur if you will. I’ve tried corn from all the local grocers and this corn, I have to say, is decent. It has nicely sized kernels, and a beautiful golden color a girl could match to her dress. I know, I’ve done it. B+ from me target.

I order this corn all the time to grill for dinner. I know there are a lot of bad reviews and issues mentioned with mold but my experience has been great. I think it may depend on the quality of your local Target and how closely they monitor the produce. The last pack that I bought actually sat in the refrigerator for almost a week before we used it because the weather wasn’t nice enough to grill and it was still perfect.
