You've played the original Taboo board game plenty of times, but never like this! The Taboo Midnight Board Game takes the classic game format and adds inappropriate prompts and answers, perfect for adults-only game nights. Get creative, get silly and guess quickly to win this fast-paced, team-based board game.
I'm part of a very active game group. We like Taboo and I currently own two versions (one from the 90s and one I received about 6 years ago. I saw this and said, a great addition to my collection. I was right. While it's considered "adult" themed -- the adult themes are subtle and more along the lines of double entendres for most of the words. I think that if you didn't tell your kids this is an adult version, they wouldn't realize it. Now, your teenagers are another story. The only thing I didn't like about the game is that it does not come with the traditional card holder that makes it easier for the person giving the clues to flip through the cards. You are expected to use the plastic tray, but it's not as good.
1-It's silly the game doesn't come with some sort of card holder like the original. Are we just supposed to hold the cards? 2-I know this doesn't have anything to do with the game itself, but I have nowhere else to write this. I ordered this online and it came with 4 UPC stickers on the box, courtesy of Target. 3 of them ripped the paper on the box, and all left adhesive on it. So my brand new game looks like I got it at a yard sale. I'm kind of peeved about that, but it's only the fault of Target, not the game.
Such a blast playing this game. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it doesn't come with a little holder for the cards like the normal Taboo game does. Otherwise, it's fun and super entertaining!
