[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought these canned tomatoes were great! They were so easy to use and super convenient since they were already peeled. I could just pop them in my food processor and start making my pasta sauce with them immediately. I loved that they were “no salt added” because I am very cognizant of my sodium intake and like to add less salt than what is typically in canned goods, so I appreciated that I could add salt to my liking. The tomatoes themselves tasted very fresh and juicy, and made for a perfect Italian dinner!

This is important since I have seen others' first ingredient, something other than tomatoes. The flavor really takes on a fresh, made at home flavor. I used it to make chili, and my husband complimented me. This was one of my best tasting chili. I am attributed to the fresh and organic flavor of the Take Root organic tomato sauce. This is now my go-to for future tomato sauce recipes.

I love that it is organic and the tomato’s added great flavor being Roma tomatoes. I also really like that there was no additional salt added as it is not needed. I would absolutely purchase these again to have on hand as I make a lot of soups and always add a can of tomatoes. Highly recommend!

The can says no salt added but calcium chloride, a salt, is an ingredient. Can’t speak to the taste as my son his allergic to citric acid which is in it.
