Disappointed!
WHY would you change this?! It was perfect with all the specs of chocolate throughout…. Coffee and chips in every bite. Now, a lot of coffee ice cream with a chip here and there. I guess you just saved me lots of calories. 🤦🏻♀️ Won’t be buying again.

This gelato was great until they changed the recipe without warning. Bring back the chocolate shavings instead of the large hard pieces. I’m not sure why they changed something that worked. I won’t be buying it again.

The chocolate flavor and the coffee flavor are perfectly blended and mixed. The flakes of chips are the perfect size. The coffee flavor doesn't taste. Watered down! one of my favorites!

Please please please put the small chocolate flecks back into the Coffee Chocolate Chip. I was so disappointed when I opened the jar and realized the change. This was my favorite treat and I honestly don’t even want to finish it.

New recipe with zero warning on the package
This used to be a 5 star product, but the change to the chocolate chips is a total turn off. The chips in this product used to be tiny magical flakes that made for a delicious texture experience. Now they are huge chocolate chunks that require constant chewing. This product also melts much quicker now. What used to be a stand out due to is unique recipe is now just your run of the mill coffee chip frozen dessert.

New Recipe Fail - Ditch the Crunchy Chunks!
There was no better gelato on the market than Talenti’s Coffee Chocolate Chip. Until now - the light, flaky chocolate bits replaced with sparse chocolate chunks has ruined the taste and texture that made it such a gourmet treat. Nothing beats the ratio of thoroughly mixed chocolate flakes to the creamy coffee flavor. Melt in your mouth and no crunch! I purchase this specific gelato regularly, so I know it’s a recent change. Please consider the feedback and criticism I am not alone in making; it’s those of us who love it the most that are here asking to return to the original recipe! It truly was the best, and made it unique among all the brands.

YOU CHANGED THE RECIOE AND DESTROYED A PERFECT RECIPE!! WHY WHY WHY would you do such a thing to my favorite ice cream of all time? WHY would you try to fix something that isn't broken?! I am thoroughly disappointed in this company and distraught over the changing of a recipe that I thought was quite possibly the best ice cream I've had in 40 years. I've been enjoying coffee chocolate chip for several years now and have recently come to terms with the fact that they've changed the recipe and I will not be experiencing the past recipe ever again. I will no longer be purchasing this ice cream with much disappointment. Change the recipe back, PLEASE! What was once a 10 ⭐️, is now a 1. 😭

We bought Talenti Coffee Almond Fudge ice cream. So disappointed. Little coffee taste. Little fudge taste. Would never buy again. We love Baskin Robins Jamaica Almond Fudge. This does not come Close. Sad.

I don't eat talenti gelatos often, but I'm glad I grabbed this flavor. I'm addicted to coffee to this along with chocolate chips is the perfect combination. Smooth gelato, just great quality overall. Will definitely be buying more often!

Coffee chip is my most favorite flavor. But I think the recipe has recently changed. It used to be loaded with chocolate shavings with nice crunch and flavor in every bite. My last jar had a small handful of chips that I had to dig for. Not enough for one in every bite, and I really miss the shavings.

Bring chips/flakes back!
Talenti is great, however, this is now a chunk of chocolate instead of chips/flakes. I would splurge for the flakes and loved how it tasted in this pint. This chunk way is not nearly as good. Very disappointing. The taste with chunks is very different. I will keep looking at these in store to see if flakes return. Until then, Talenti has lost a customer. I’ll go to another brand. Oh and remake the container to say “chunk” instead of “chips”

This is one of the top coffee flavors in the market. Unfortunately they changed the chocolate flakes to chocolate chunks, which totally changed the flavor. The bursts of chocolate flakes on your tongue was the whole reason I would splurge on the pint. Please.. bring back our flakes!!!
