The wrapping is paper so it's biodegradable instead of plastic. Leak proof and work great I love using tampax super plus with cardboard I feel fresh especially I use on those heavy days I have I’m always going and on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I’m getting older (42) these tampons just aren’t comfortable, don’t properly absorb, and give me cramps and headaches. The absorption is strange with these as they don’t expand (for me) and simply absorb the outside layer and then leak. I don’t want to totally blame the tampon as I’m sure my health and body comes into play as well. However, when I take it out, I feel ALMOST instant (or within a half hour) relief. The “cardboard” layer has a waxy film making it easy to insert. It’s a tampon. Nothing that stands out over any other tampon.

No scents added to the product which is a major plus, along with the performance of the product. Im a heavy bleeder, and can't stand or can't use the period disc looking products. Tampax has always been comfortable for me with very little leakage for my super heavy days.

The Tampax Super Plus tampons with cardboard applicator is great for my heavier period days because it holds a lot and doesn't need changed often. However, I cannot handle the cardboard applicator. It's very uncomfortable to insert. Plus the paper packaging makes a loud crinkly sound so it's not very discreet. I did appreciate the anti-slip grip that was put on the applicator. The only benefit to these is how environmentally friendly the cardboard is over the plastic but I wouldn't try these again.
