Okay overall. There's a decent amount of steak for this kind of meal, but a ton of rice and not enough veggies. Sauce is flavorful, a little spicy and maybe a bit too tangy. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] im sorry, but i can't recommend this product. although cooking instructions were precise, the dish lacked flavor. the lemon was too overpowering to the dish. It was mainly what you could taste. my family regularly makes this dish, and i know a good tomatillo salsa when i see one, but this one lacked spice and salt. the steak was well cooked, and the rice wasn't grainy despite the fact that it was flash frozen so ill give it that, but i would not buy again.

The spice level ain't so bad, I've had spiced meals with just beans and it'll be spicy as heck. I am glad this came with rice as well, rice ain't as fluffy as i would like though. Just popping into the microwave is convenient enough for me.

Decent Flavor, but Needs Improvement

The steak was tender and flavorful, but the portion size was smaller than expected. The salsa verde added a nice tangy kick, but it overpowered some of the other flavors in the bowl. The rice was a bit mushy, and the overall presentation felt underwhelming. It’s a decent meal if you’re in a pinch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again. With a little more balance in flavors and better texture in the sides, it could easily be a 4-star meal.

Not as good as i thought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t a fan of the Tapatío Salsa Verde Steak Bowl. The steak was a bit tough, and the salsa verde, while tangy, was overpowering. The rice and beans didn’t do much to balance out the flavors, making it feel a bit one note. Overall, it didn’t hit the mark for me. But it’s okay to have it when you are in a rush I think is a complete meal
