    Tasty Treat

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always liked Tastykake products and was excited to try the new butterscotch krimpets and they are pretty good. They are moist but really sweet. It didn't taste like butterscotch to me at all but maybe a butter icing. It is a quick sweet treat to boost your mood and each pack has 2 inside but 1 is definitely enough.

A scan with Yuka give it a 0/100 which is the worst you can get due to harmful texturing ingredients. I think there's better alternatives out there but these are a great size for coffee in the morning but they are a tad overly sweet as well. If they were made without the harmful ingredients I'd definitely purchase again, but as for now no.

There is a fair amount of icing on each cake. However, I could hardly taste any butterscotch flavor. I would have liked the butterscotch to be more prominent. The two-packs are individually-wrapped, making them easy to take on the go or pack in a lunchbox. These Krimpets pair nicely with a cup of coffee and satisfy my sweet tooth.
