Raspberry Krimpets are a stample of American comfort foods. They were a far superior product to Twinkies & other similar cake treats. They've been removed from store shelves for well over a decade and the people demand you make them again & sell them nation wide. I remember as a young kid, seeing the Tasty Kake truck pull up to the supermarket or local convenient store in my neighborhood which meant I better rush in to buy some before they were all sold out. There were plenty other good Tasty Kake products left to buy, but the Raspberry Krimpets were their best seller. Make it happen !!! We demand Raspberry Krimpets in every store !!!

I recently bought these in Fresh Grocer. The fresh date was 3 weeks ahead Oct 19.. however the krimpets taste old and spongy and the jelly was pretty dried and dark. I bought peanut butter Kandy cakes with a similar date and they taste old also.

I have eaten these over 50 years I think!!! My son also loves them. Nothing else like them. I moved out west.Tastycake just started getting here a few years ago. Love everything this bakery makes. Fruit pies are great too.
