soft+moist+jelly filling, but can't find them
Have enjoyed these jelly krimpets and their butterscotch variety for literally decades. They are always soft, convenient to hold from the "crimped" shape and the jelly is like a fun treat when you bite into that part of the cake. The confetti, pancake, cream-filled and other varieties are fine, I have found none of those on a par with the classic jelly or butterscotch versions. Unfortunately, finding the jelly Krimpets have been an impossible quest in the NJ/NY region over the past year or so. My son has asked what happened to them (he doesn't like the other flavors) and all I can wonder is what happened to Tastykake's distribution of this product.

Missing in action
We bought a few boxes of all different tastykake brands. One box had missing “kakes”! We love tastykake and have been loyal customers since we were kids!! Now 40+ years later we are still loyal! We had many “mistakes” in packings of tastykake products that we bought but never voiced our concerns. We bought a few different boxes of tastykake from our local supermarket. But noticed the jelly krimpet was missing one!!

Bring Back Raspberry Krimpets
Raspberry Krimpets are a stample of American comfort foods. They were a far superior product to Twinkies & other similar cake treats. They've been removed from store shelves for well over a decade and the people demand you make them again & sell them nation wide. I remember as a young kid, seeing the Tasty Kake truck pull up to the supermarket or local convenient store in my neighborhood which meant I better rush in to buy some before they were all sold out. There were plenty other good Tasty Kake products left to buy, but the Raspberry Krimpets were their best seller. Make it happen !!! We demand Raspberry Krimpets in every store !!!

I already picked on you re Dunkers I did not like among dozens of other items you make that I do like. Thought you should know that your machine messed up. PS: Products not quite as good as when in Philly---maybe my imagination.

There are not as fresh as they use to be!
I recently bought these in Fresh Grocer. The fresh date was 3 weeks ahead Oct 19.. however the krimpets taste old and spongy and the jelly was pretty dried and dark. I bought peanut butter Kandy cakes with a similar date and they taste old also.

I have eaten these over 50 years I think!!! My son also loves them. Nothing else like them. I moved out west.Tastycake just started getting here a few years ago. Love everything this bakery makes. Fruit pies are great too.
