Q: Will this scale register for pills weighing only a few mg? Some scales have a minimum weight required to get a reading.

A:Â The lowest scale reading is 0.01 gram which equals 10 mg. It is not designed to measure a few milligrams and may not be as accurate at the very lowest reading as it is in the middle of the range.

This scale doesn't measure properly. I have a 100g calibration weight that this scale was weiging at 99.88g to 99.92g. Each time I weighed it, I got a different number. But what was most frustrating was the fact that you can't calibrate this scale. It's not worth spending the money on it when you can't get accurate measurements and there is NO calibration ability.

I believe this scale was only in-store offering that went to this level of precise weight in grams. We have just started a coin and silver collecting hobby, and this scale has been great so far. I appreciate the small size and nice cover.

Bought this food scale to measure my food... Would be a great scale but right out the box it measured the air at 2.9oz... And kept going higher and higher. I pressed the reset a dozen times. Then I thought well, I'll measure my food 4 times and the number I get twice I'll go for that one, well it gave me for different measurements... I pressed reset and walked away, the box says it will automatically turn off. An hour later it was still measuring and I physically had to take the batteries out for it to stop. Guess I won't be measuring my food anytime soon...

This scale is T I N Y. It was my mistake for not reading the dimensions prior to purchasing. For the price, it gets the job done. To be able to actually use it, I place plastic Tupperware on the scale and scoop/pour whatever I measuring into it to make it work. I just subtract the weight of the empty Tupperware with how much it weighs after I put whatever I am measuring in it.
