A: The Taylor leave-in meat thermometer can be used in a dutch oven in the oven, but should not be used in a dutch oven if putting in a campfire or on a grill. Please note that the meat thermometer can be used in up to 500°F ovens. You may start to notice some yellowing of the dial tarting to occur around 350°F. Q: Can I use in a Weber charcoal grill with the top on or a gas grill ?
A: Either grill will work with this Taylor Thermometer. Be sure to not crimp the wire with the grill lid or expose the wire to flame. Enjoy the grilling!

Q: Do I have to leave themometer in meat or can I just use it to check meat temperature?
A: The leave-in meat thermometer is a leave-in thermometer and cannot be used as an instant read. It is meant to be left in the meat during the cooking process to track the gradual increase in temperatures.
