I keep mine in the window to charge and at night it will light up whatever room it is in. It has 2 different light settings and each one will light up an area. Great addition to my Halloween decor.

We can’t wait to use it when the holiday season rolls around! My favorite part is how the cut outs reflect onto the wall or the house wherever you place it.

There are two light settings to chose from based upon preference. The lantern stays lit for such a long period of time, and has held up really well outside. Hoping to get more styles soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being entirely made out of plastic, the portable lantern is surprisingly heavy and sturdy. The lantern is well made but has minor imperfections which make it look handmade! Even though the material used is weather resistant, I like to keep it under our covered front porch which gets plenty of sun light throughout the day. Since the lantern is solar powered and does not require batteries or a plug, it can be placed essentially anywhere. Both light settings are bright enough to light up a small area but I especially love the warm amber setting. With the “on” setting, the lantern turns on by itself once the sun sets and also turns off automatically in the mornings. The cutouts cast their images onto the ground, but unfortunately they overlap, and you can’t really tell what it is without looking directly at the cutouts.

Has two great soft light options one amber and one white light. Has easy on and off switch. Made very well with great materials. The pictures of the bat and witch show up on the wall and it looks super cool. I can't wait to put it out front on Halloween and have all the neighbors see it . I'm so very pleased with this lantern. Now I need to collect the other holiday one. I highly recommend this brand and product.
