These sinking food wafers contain zucchini, algae meal and fiber to simulate the benefits of driftwood and support desired digestibility. This food is formulated to nutritionally promote a healthier, longer life for bottom-feeding fish.To ensure that your herbivore bottom feeders and other algae-eating fish species are provided with complete daily nutrition, feed only the amount that your fish will consume within a few hours each day. For supplemental feeding of other veggie-loving fish, feed every few days, only what your fish can consume within a few hours. Killed my tadpoles
Bought a bag of these from Walmart as a treat for a few hundred tadpoles. Used one wafer in each 12 gallon breeding bin and found over 20 tadpoles dead about twelve hours later in each bin. Didn't connect the wafers with the die off that time. Next time I fed them a wafer same thing. Lost about 100 tadpoles all together. Will never buy again.

this product was purchased las mth; i dropped a couple of wafers n tank for my plecos into a 70 gal tank with (14 healthy tropical fish) until i used the pleco wafers.. i really believe the pkg is contaminated it was purchased from wal mart

I bought 3 bags of the wafers. In 2 the wafers did not sink. I will never buy them again.

They float!
Terrible product. They float on top of the water and get stuck in my water filter. They claim they sink.

Garbage
This batch of pleco food is absolutely garbage I always buy this brand. Ive had my pleco for over five years and I bought a bag the other day and EVERY SINGLE WAFER floated until it dissolved. Very disappointed.

it works
Picked up a bag of PlecoWafers not sure why but i didgot home put 2 of the wafers into my tank and incredible how fast my algae eater was on those wafers. i give it 2 wafers every other day and does not stop eating until both are gone.
