TGIN Rose Water Curl Defining Mousse - 8oz

This product gave my daughter chemical burns on her forehead! It is most definitely not natural she even had some on her scalp, I do not recommended this brand to anyone!

TOXIC!! The product gave my 4 year old chemical burns all over her scalp and forehead. Anywhere it touched, her skin bubbled up with severe burns. All of her skin and scalp peeled off and she only found relief once I washed it out. NEVER PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!

This product gave me chemical burns on my scalp. I’m having to use an ice packet to stop the burning. Not to mention, it’s sore to touch.

Burning from chemical reaction, why are such chemicals needed for a curl defining mouse/ foam?

Did not have a rose water scent.

It’s light and airy. Really easy to use and smells great. A little goes a long way though or it gets too creamy.

I read the brief description of the founder and her story, before purchasing. She was a cancer survivor and Harvard graduate who wanted something for her hair that was not harsh and loaded with chemicals. Well unfortunately either something has gone drastically wrong or my scalp and the others who reviewed this product poorly have highly allergenic scalps. Please note I'm a licensed hair stylist and have been for 25 years. I am advocate of healthy hair and maintain a healthy scalp and full thick 4c hair of my own. IMy scalp does not get manipulated for extended periods of time by chemicals or synthetic hair. I'm a proclaimed naturalista. I purchased products regularly for the right cocktail. Each season requires new recipes. I share this to express my deep concern about whatever is inside of this product. I used the raking method to do a wash an go on my hair. The next morning I experience a warm sensation, and then by the evening it was itching. The next morning I woke up to a boil like burn similar to a relaxer left on too long. I immediately washed my hair and re-set it with my regular products that have been safe without such a strong reaction. I share this for concern for anyone else. That in all of my years working I have not come across anything that did such severe damage in such a short time. In addition eyes have been itching for two days as well. Clearly there is something other than a natural formulation. I was successfully able to burn my neck and get a wash and go look?! But at what cost. Buyer beware!

Please don’t but this product. I have two dark patches up on my scalp which are burn marks because the product irritated by scalp and cause bumps that turn into dark patches. This product causes itchy scalp as well.

I wanted to love this. I purchased this without truly glancing at the ingredients trusting the name “thank god it’s natural”. After a few uses, my son’s scalp, top of ears and back of neck turned red, scaley with some puss areas. I then look at the ingredients and unfortunately found it’s not natural at all. There’s tons of stuff added in, silicone being one with is the biggest curly no-no. I’m not sure what caused the reaction, but I’m sad to discontinue use as I was hoping to love this brand.

Smells great, adds volume and hold and makes my curls look great

Love love love, I feel this product works best when applied with kinky curly knot today (in the winter dry months) I use it on my sons hair make sure your hair is saturated with water quick squeeze then apply product. He can rock his curls for 3 or 4 days sleeps with a bonnet of course no matting when he wakes up it’s the best! Curls are perfect and fluffy but still shiny.

I stumbled on this earlier this year and tried it on a whim. It works beautifully on my color-treated, kinky 4-something hair. My twist-outs are light and fluffy (which I adore), and my styles get better as the days go by. I use this where many people would use a gel to 'set' their style along with regular wash day basics (shampoo, conditioner, etc). I highly recommend it!!

I was hoping to like this for my low porosity 3a/3b curls, but it really didn’t do anything but cause a ton of frizz. It states to be a medium hold but I disagree. I bought this and when I came home I tested it on dryish damp hair, and it instantly caused frizz. I figured, okay it’s just because I put it on not freshly washed curls and it was very humid outside. But on my wash day after I got done finger coiling and applied this all over, I began to diffuse and holy frizz. It was soft, and puffy. Looked like I got zapped by lightning in the rain. The smell also reminds me of wall paint/a freshly painted house. The smell does not last once applied but I jumped in the shower to re-wash my hair. Honestly wasn’t a fan. But you never know, it couldn’t work for you.

Husband loves this for his very wavy/soft curled hair. Has a good smell but isn’t too strong and he said it doesn’t leave his hands messy.

Highly recommended for all my 4c girls. 1 of 3 of the holy grail of popping’ curls

I use this along with a lightweight gel and it’s sooo perfect for my thick 3b hair. I could use alone but I live in a very humid state so I need the extra hold! defines my curls without causing any flakes or drying my hair out. I tell everyone about this stuff - love love love

I’m not sure which ingredients in this are the culprit but it burned my 4 year old. I have been using a different brand of foam my Ju Poppin but I ran out. I went to target to find something because I can only get the other one online. It seemed to work well until day 3. Last night she complained about her head hurting on the sides. I didn’t think much of it until this morning when I looked at her head and she has burn marks and swelling. The only thing that changed was this product. I will be trashing this and going back to what I used before. Beware!

This stuff is great. I have low porosity low density 3a hair and it works like magic. It’s cg method approved. It reduces flyaways on damp hair so well. No matter how much I put on, it leaves no film, crunch, or residue. It conditions my hair and makes it so soft and shiny.

Didn’t work. Left residue didn’t define my natural hair does have a weird smell. Lastly I got a chemical burn on my one side of my hair and this only product used
