[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added Dirt Boost Plus to my lawn program this year and I wish I'd started using it sooner. If you're dealing with hard, compacted clay soil like I am, this stuff is a game changer. Within a few weeks of applying it alongside my fertilizer, I noticed the soil was softer and easier to probe, and my grass was responding better to everything else I was putting down. The blend of humic acid, fulvic acid, and sea kelp is exactly what tired soil needs. It's not a fertilizer — it's a soil conditioner — and that distinction matters. You can throw all the nitrogen in the world at your lawn, but if your soil biology is dead and your nutrient uptake is poor, you're wasting money. Dirt Boost Plus addresses the foundation. It helps your soil actually work the way it's supposed to. Application was simple. The granules are easy to spread and I just mixed it into my regular fertilizer schedule. No issues with clumping or uneven distribution. I used it on both established Bermuda and a bare area I'm prepping for seed, and the difference in soil quality compared to untreated areas was obvious. If you're only buying fertilizer and skipping soil amendments, you're leaving results on the table. Highly recommend.

Not sure if it plays any part in the fact that there are now hundreds of earthworms in my garden (I see them when I plant/transplant) AND in my lawn (I see them when I aerate).

I really enjoyed this product, so I am going to put it down again. I believe it has put additional nutrients in the yard to help improve it.

Love each of The Andersons products I’ve used. This one is new to m, but I already have a batch of manure super compost steaming away thanks to this product (see Doc’s video on YT). I also just spread some on my lawn and am looking forward to the longterm benefits of improved soil microbe activity. Combined with Medina Soil Activator, it should be a microbial rave party in the soil.

Did a late summer scalp and overseeded a dirt patch. Seed grew nicely, and the lawn got really thick.
