[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last several years I have used Andersons HumiChar as part of my fall lawn renovation project, along with core aeration and overseeding. Overall, I’m very happy with the results. After aerating the yard, I applied HumiChar before seeding. The product spread easily and blended well into the aeration holes. I was interested in the combination of biochar and humic substances to help improve soil health and support seed establishment, especially since some areas of my lawn have struggled in past years. Germination was strong and consistent, and I noticed the new grass seemed to establish deeper roots faster than previous overseeding efforts. The lawn maintained moisture well during the early growth stages, which likely helped the seedlings get through some warmer days without stress. A few weeks after seeding, the turf looked thicker, greener, and more uniform than in previous years. While aeration and quality seed certainly played a major role, I believe HumiChar helped improve soil conditions and created a better environment for root development. The product was easy to apply, produced very little dust, and fit seamlessly into my lawn care program. Based on the results I saw this season, I plan to use Andersons HumiChar again during future aeration and overseeding projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Humichar as a part of a lawn/soil improvement plan. It was applied with other fertilizers (Triple 19, MAP, etc). It reduced my watering needs and my lawn never looked better. It was easy to apply. I will be using again next season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Humichar and PGF complete worked wonders on my lawn, it took one week for my lawn to turn dark green and stay dark green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will be the 5th year of using Humichar. My lawn greens up faster and stays green longer than any lawn in the neighborhood. And I believe Humichar has a part in that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I use this product every early Fall after I aerate and reseed. It provides a nice healthy soil for a nice green up until winters arrival. This product also promotes a healthy soil for the grass upon Springs arrival in April. I am a loyal Andersons customer and all their products promote a healthy and stable lawn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] East to apply. Mixed with a couple other Anderson products and seeing results in 7 days. Watered heavy for the first 2 days after applying, I think that makes a great different.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved from a home with total sand to a home with compacted clay. Humichar is helping us get back a useable earth. The clay is so hard and compacted that it is difficult to grow anything. Aeration along with an application of Humichar at least twice a year is helping break up the compacted clay. I highly recommend for compact soil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered direct from Anderson so know it would be new and fresh. Arrived quickly. Bag was inside cardboard box so arrived in great condition. Put on front lawn and watered as specified. Think it will take some time before any visible results, but went on very easy with push broadcast spreader. Will update later
