GardenStraw Mini 0.5 cu ft Compressed Bale provides a clean, all-natural, and sustainable mulch made from 100% wheat straw grown on the Canadian Prairies. Naturally filtered to remove dust, dirt, and as many seeds as possible, it’s ideal for small vegetable gardens, raised beds, flower beds, container plants, and pathways. Just a 2–3" layer helps lock in moisture, reduce watering by up to 50%, suppress weeds, and stays neatly in place without tack. It improves soil health by reducing compaction, erosion, and soil splash, while breaking down faster than wood mulches to enrich the soil, support beneficial microbes, and add organic matter. Each compact 0.5 cu ft bale covers up to 20 sq ft at a 2–3" depth or 120 sq ft for lawn seeding at ¼", making it well-suited for small gardens, containers, or specialty planting areas.
