About the Author

Tracey Miller-Zarneke has long been fascinated with the world of animation, way beyond her credited roles on Meet the Robinsons, Chicken Little, and The Emperor's New Groove. She has drawn upon her firsthand experience in animation production by authoring fifteen books on the art of animation across five studios, including the quartet of DreamWorks Animation's Kung Fu Panda films. Tracey has served as the technical editor on the second and third editions of the textbook Producing Animation, as author of Marvel: 100 Objects and the centenary edition of The Disney Book, and as coauthor of Before Ever After: The Lost Lectures of Walt Disney's Animation Studio. Beyond the written word, Tracey has also enjoyed screen-based storytelling as an assistant producer on the animation documentary The Sweatbox and later worked on the historical film Waking Sleeping Beauty.

Gloria Estefan, who voices Grandma Gigi, is a singer, actress, songwriter, author of two New York Times bestselling children's books, philanthropist, and humanitarian. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, garnered nine Grammy Awards, an Oscar nomination, an American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, and was inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame. She also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015, the Kennedy Center Honors award, and founded the Gloria Estefan Foundation, whose mission is to support charitable programs for disadvantaged children.

Laila Lockhart Kraner is an actress currently starring as Gabby in DreamWorks Animation's hit Netflix original show Gabby's Dollhouse, a wildly popular interactive live-action/animation hybrid series. Previously, she appeared as Young Rainbow on ABC's hit show black-ish and Kai in the crime drama series Shots Fired.
