About the Author



Li Caomu--the founder of Caomu Huadao--is a professional flower arranger and a veteran of landscape design. After graduating from the Fine Arts Department at Wuhu Teachers College in 2002, he began to work in floral and landscape design. Li is the author of China's first contemporary book about flower arranging: Techniques for Hand-Drawing Flower Arrangements. He has published a wide range of papers and is also the author of the stage drama Weeping Flowers. Li Caomu's work has enabled the art of Chinese flower arranging to remain rooted in tradition while preserving its modernity.
