He was 10 years old when his parents started the publication in 1980, so The Backwoodsman Magazine has been a huge part of his life. Charlie officially started working for the magazine in 1995. He has served many roles during his time, such as associate publisher, special assignments editor, and advertising director. Charlie has written numerous articles and feature interviews for the publication. He is also a freelance outdoor television producer.
