Book Synopsis

Books representing young black girls were non-existent for me growing up. As a kid, I never really understood why I would walk into book shops and never see a girl who looks just like me on a book's front cover. By showcasing this photobook alphabet to the world, I want to show every black girl out there that there are people that look like you & that you are not overlooked. No matter what people may tell you, always remember, black will FOREVER be beautiful.

Highly Recommend

“The Black Girl Alphabet Book” is a phenomenal children's book! My three-year-old daughter frequently requests for me to read this while teaching her the ABCs. It's heartwarming to see a young black woman showcase the beauty of black women/excellence. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone with a toddler learning the alphabet!

Misspelled word

The idea for the book is nice but “Intelligent” the word used for the letter “I” is spelled wrong.
