About the Author



ANDREW GRANT WOOD is Associate Professor of History at the University of Tulsa. Wood, a specialist in Mexican history, is the editor of On the Border: Society and Culture between the United States and Mexico (2004) and has produced a documentary film on carnival in Veracruz, Mexico, among other works.
