Dr Alison Buxton is the founder and a director at STEAM Works Learning and a Makerspace Project Developer in the School of Education at The University of Sheffield. She has over 18 years of experience in science and engineering outreach and engagement and sits on international advisory boards for FIRST LEGO League robotics program and Verdaniya Schools in India. Alison has extensive experience in designing high-quality engineering and maker-based children's activities for organizations including The Royal Air Force, The V&A Museum, FIRST LEGO League, and The National Videogame Museum. She is a published author of Maker Workshop and co-author of Maker Studio (Welbeck Publishing). Helen Bell is the Managing Director at STEAM Works Learning.
