Review Quotes
"Since her death, Joan Didion's sterling reputation has only grown. This year alone saw another crop of Didion-related volumes--including Lil Anorak's highly entertaining, Didion & Babitz--but the proof is in Didion's oeuvre, which is beautifully presented in this comprehensive box set from the Library of America. Essential." --Alex Belth, Esquire "The Joan Didion Collection is a lovely gift for readers. It could be, however, a dangerous thing to
give a writer. A random selection of these 2,600-odd pages might cause a spasm of imitation, which is almost certain to turn out badly." --Chris Barsanti, Rain Taxi
