About the Author
Eric Rynston-Lobel is a Chicago-based sportswriter, journalist, and avid follower of women's college hoops. He became a basketball superfan as a journalism student at Northwestern where he was sports director for WNUR Sports. Since then, he's worked for the Concord Monitor and Northwestern's Local News Initiative. His work has been published in World Lacrosse, The Next, and Sports Illustrated.
Kathleen Gier is a Kansas City-based sportswriter who is the executive editor of women's sports publications The IX and The Next. An avid sports fan since childhood, she holds degrees in journalism and sports management from the University of Kansas. Alicia Williamson is a children's nonfiction writer and editor. A one-time small forward, she grew up playing basketball and remains a huge sports fan. Her writing has been published by Kingfisher, Scholastic, DK, Welbeck, Quarto, and Hachette.
