The Lakeside Collection Insulated Picnic Baskets

Needed new basket with handles to carry mine and my husband's medical electric equipment in. This is perfect for us to use when traveling.

This is perfect for my Meals on Wheels. I can leave it on the front stoop and the hot will stay hot, and the cold will stay cold. Love the handle, the floral pattern and the zippered top, too. Nice and lightweight but will be sturdy enough to carry into my kitchen after my meals are delivered.

I bought this to replace the Picnic basket I had previously. LTD didn't have the exact one, but i figured they are all the same. . . they are not! The fabric is thin and not like a type of canvas, more like satin/rayon. The inserts to keep the basket from colapsing are thin attached wires, that need extended to create the basket space. One side broke after one use, and I cannot reconnect the wire. The older version, had plastic shapes that fit into slots along the inside. It was way more sturdy. no at all happy with the new design, but I'm making it work for short weekend trips, that doesn't require a large cooler.

I just received my insulated picnic basket and it's so cute and nice size, but I thought I could fix it. The thin wires inside to help keep the basket open will not stay. I placed food and items inside to see if it would stay open, but the wires just keep falling into the basket and closes. I love the basket and size, but it just won't stay open, even with food and plates, etc, placed inside.

I just received my picnic basket. . . it looks nice on the outside but it is difficult to make it stand opened to fill. The thin wires that are used to make it stand to be full and open do not stay to open. I will have to figure a way to fill the basket and hope it will stay opened.

I like the basket but it has 2 wires that I believe are for stabilization that just get in the way. Trying to decide if I should remove them. The basket is a great size and did keep things cool

After reading other reviews, I was able to get the side wires to stay in place. I am glad the other review was helpful to me and wanted to update what I reviewed.

Tried for 20 minutes to get this thing to stand up and resemble a picnic basket. But no go. This picnic basket is supposed to be held up by these little wires that should snap into a tiny piece of plastic that form the sides. After 20 minutes of trying to get this to work, I gave up. It was flat as a pancake. I will never have the patience or time to use this. . . much less, I still can't get it to work. I'll give it to charity as I would not even give this to a friend.

I bought two of these, they’re awful. The wires do not hold the basket up at all. I bought one a few years ago and loved it, these are not the same. Would not buy again!

This basket is great! We took it camping. It held all our snacks and then served as a catch all when we were packing up. Sturdy, light and the handles are comfortable. It's a little tricky at first snapping the wires into place, but once in place the basket stays upright. Thinking of getting another one!

I was reading some of the reviews and someone commented that it wouldn't stay open. I had the same problem when I got mine, however, I had my husband look at it and you have to ""click"" the metal prongs into place and then it works like a charm. They are so cute and practical! I ordered one in each color, now I just have to decide which one to keep for myself!

I am pleased with my whole order. LTD never disappoints.

This is such a great deal, it's a nice size the handles are cushioned and comfortable I love that it has a zipper top. I even used it to go food shopping and have gotten some comments as to how cute it is instead of a bag. I may even buy another one with the other pattern.

I bought 2 of these for when I’m out and about so if I buy things that need to be refrigerated I can put them in the cooler bags. I pack them with ice packs and off I go. They work very well keeping my stuff cool!

I bought it as a birthday present for my daughter but I won’t give it to her. The two metal wire “prongs” inside won’t stay in place to hold the end walls of the basket up. So it keeps collapsing. It’s even a problem when it’s full and zipped up. It’s just total junk like so much else I have bought. I won’t be wasting my money anymore.

I purchased a basket several years ago similar to this basket. I use the basket when I go grocery shopping on hot summer days for refrigerated foods. The new basket has metal support brackets for keep the basket from folding. I am very pleased with the basket.
