I fell in love with this sign. But when I went to put it together the wood broke off above the screws. Very bad design, I have tried different ways to try to keep it together but they have not worked. Sign is sitting in hallway in two pieces....

I bought this a few weeks ago. and I didn't realize that it came in two pieces. I thought it was one long sign so when I put it together, the moment I picked it up to carry it outside to the porch, the piece that the screws were in released from the board. So I tried to use wood glue to put it back together but you can tell that even after it dried it doesn't want to stand up straight. It looks buckled.
