    I was shocked how much there was to this game. I expected a modern version of the classic game, but there is also challenges and brand new scenarios to keep things fresh. Eventually, you will learn the paths and mechanics, leading to a bit of repetitive gameplay. But there is still so much to this game that I can easily recommend it.

    Nostalgic & Fun

    PROS: Oregon Trail was my favorite game as a kid, so I enjoyed being able to play it again on a modern console. It was nostalgic and fun, and I even got to introduce my two young kids to it! CONS: I do think it was a missed opportunity to make the game less repetitive and more layered. For example, I would have enjoyed more characters to choose from (or even a build-your-own-character). When you play it over and over, you learn to beat the storylines, and that’s expected, but I think it happened a little too quick. I would have liked a lot more storylines you could fall into along the trail. Also, Little Mary. (IYKYK)
