The graphics are great and the storyline is very interesting! There is a futuristic oblivian feel to the game.

Very out there and fun to play. Imaginative. Made for a fun evenings around the house.

I wanted to like this game as I'm a big fan of RPGs...but it just made me want to replay the Mass Effect series. The graphics are good and the combat is fine, but there's too much time spent talking to other characters, sorting through inventory (of which there is way too much), staring at loading screens, and upgrading weapons that are rarely used. This would be fine if the writing and characters were really good, but I found them to be mediocre. I gave it a chance (20-30 hours), but ultimately decided it wasn't worth the time to finish.

Fun gameplay, good writing, enjoyable characters. I'm just finishing up my first play through, and I took my time, so have hit about 37 hours this time through. I already know I want to change some of my skills & attributes for my next time through, and am looking forward to playing a different type of character. I've had several other games waiting to be played, but haven't been able to put this one down - and I'm really thinking of playing through again now rather than starting something else. Visually - the game looks very distinctive - it can't be mistaken for something else. Gameplay - while you might get tired of fighting the same types of enemies after a while - if you're trying to play through without killing anyone, it gives a pretty cool challenge. You can mod your weapons so they do more damage, have different effects, become really good for sniping or hitting things, etc. Really though - it's all about the story, and I've done a few things where I saved, made a choice, and then revised & chose differently - it's cool to see the outcomes from the choices you make affecting how your story goes. The characters in this game really are well done. There are a couple that I absolutely love - and don't want to disappoint, there are a few that I absolutely hated, but that I then learned more about & felt a bit different. It's cool because there's more to ALMOST everyone than meets the eye. If you want the best FPS - don't buy this. It's only good there. If you want something that's fun & rewards you for your play style - absolutely pick this game up.
