Book Synopsis
They call me the Virgin Queen because I can never marry...
Clara
I am Clara Hagi, the Virgin Queen. I may not be allowed to marry, but I will be the first woman to rule a mafia clan.
I ache for Tatum, the consilier of the Lupu family. I love his piercing black eyes, his tall, muscle-bound frame, his touch, his commands, his beguiling strain of vulnerability-I love it all.
The one time and only time he kissed me-my first kiss-was a mistake.
That's what he called it.
A mistake.
He'll regret those words; I'll make sure of it.
Tatum
Nothing good came from kissing that girl, Clara. A girl whose clan hates mine. A girl who's off-limits. A girl I should loathe.
I live and breathe the Lupu clan, and I do it perfectly. I'm charged with getting the Virgin Queen under control. Once I do, my clan will rule LA, just as it rules NYC.
Every time I see her, I remember. Every time we spar, I want to kiss her. Every time we accidentally touch, I ache for her.
One kiss would never be enough. Maybe bedding her will get her out of my system, virginity bedamned.
But what if I fall for the Virgin Queen?
She deserves better than a tainted man like me.
Content Notes:
The Perfect Heir is a standalone novel. It's the fourth installment in the Lupu Family Mafia Series - a dark age-gap, enemies-to-lovers romance. Tatum is an over-the-top, possessive anti-hero. Please do not read if such material offends.
Review Quotes
Anji on Book Bub:
This book is hot! A great mafia story with a twist. The daughter is the boss's heir. Clara is a fantastic heroine, confident, intelligent, loyal and devoted to her family. She and Tatum literally burst into flames every time they see each other. I loved seeing them fight their growing feelings. This book takes enemies to lovers to a whole new level.
The story is well thought out with plenty of action and intrigue. The love story is woven in and out, believable and enjoyable. The rest of the Lupu clan are wonderful and I'm planning on going back to read each of their stories. I very much recommend this book.
