About the Author
Katey Howes was a beloved children's author who published six picture books and won numerous awards for her work. Her books include themes of joy, inclusion, and empowerment. Katey was an active member of the children's literary community and contributed to parenting, literacy, and STEM websites throughout her career. She raised three children with her husband until her sudden passing in May 2024.
