Book Synopsis
A new classic series that goes beyond simple storytelling. Stories of the Saints keeps the profound lessons of courage and compassion taught by holy figures alive, in an engaging and accessible format. This book is all about Saint Carlos Acutis, the patron saint of youth, computer programmers, and influencers. Carlo created a website that documented Eucharistic miracles to help spread the word of God. Sadly, Carlo died of leukemia at the age of 15, but his legacy lives on. After his death, many miracles have been attributed to Saint Carlo. Each book in Stories of the Saints retells the classic life stories of a different saint, sharing their miraculous deeds in an engaging and accessible way. The stunning illustrations will capture and enthrall young minds whilst teaching important values and virtues. To mark the importance of each title and the lessons learnt, there is a prayer at the end of the book.About the Author
Erica Tapp is passionate about storytelling and Bible teaching. She has spent many years on staff in schools and at large churches in central London and St. Albans. The focus of her church work was helping children and young people to read, understand, and love the Bible. She now has three young children of her own to read to, and is active in children's work in her local community in Harrow. Giovana Medeiros was born in Criciuma, Brazil. She graduated in Fashion Design in her hometown, but later pursued her dream and studied Illustration at BCFE in Dublin, where she lived for three years. She worked for several years creating print designs for apparel, but since 2011 has been dedicating herself to becoming a full time illustrator. Although her work is mostly focused on the children's universe, it has also been applied to a series of different mediums such as books, magazines, textiles, games, and apps. Aside from her work as an illustrator, she dedicates her free time to creating autobiographical comics, discovering new recipes, drinking coffee, and traveling.Dimensions (Overall): 7.38 Inches (H) x 5.63 Inches (W)
