This collection continues the run of Charles "Chuck" Dixon as lead story writer with a host of artistic talents assisting including a majority of work from Gary Kwapisz with inks and finishes (and occasional pencils as well) by master draftsman, Ernie Chan! Stories include "Blood Circus," "Slaves of the Circle," and "Bane of the Dark Brotherhood"! Also included is the Don Kraar penned "The Wrath of Crom," with early work by Dale Eaglesham and luscious inks from Pat Redding!

This collection includes the usual assortment of superb pin up art by some true greats of the comic book form as well as up-and-coming talents of the time. This book also features a section of rarely seen bonus material!

About the Author



CHUCK DIXON is a prolific comic book writer, best known for his work on action-packed series such as Batman, Nightwing, and The Punisher. Renowned for his fast-paced, gritty storytelling, Dixon's contributions to Savage Sword highlight his talent for crafting intense, character-driven sword-and-sorcery adventures.

DOUG MOENCH is an American comic book writer notable for his Batman work and as the co-creator of Black Mask, Moon Knight, Deathlok and Bane. His work with artist Paul Gulacy on Master of Kung Fu remains a much-heralded comic book run and resulted in many more collaborations including the Conan story in this collection.

DON KRAAR broke into comics as a writer in the early 1970s with short stories for DC's anthology titles. He became one of the mainstays of Marvel's Conan comics line in the '80s with work on The Savage Sword of Conan, two Conan graphic novels and an extended run on Conan the King that saw the character expand his empire.

GARY KWAPISZ A celebrated comic book artist, renowned for his striking black-and-white illustrations in Savage Sword of Conan. His detailed and dynamic artwork brought Conan's brutal adventures to life, with a gritty realism that perfectly complemented the series' dark, sword-and-sorcery tone. Kwapisz's work remains iconic in the Conan legacy. He's also drawn Wolverine, Ka-Zar, Moon Knight, Hawkworld, Punisher War Journal, Airboy, Badger and Civil War Adventure.

PAUL GULACY is a renowned comic book artist, celebrated for his cinematic style and dynamic compositions. He rose to prominence with his work on Master of Kung Fu in the 1970s. Gulacy's career spans decades, contributing to titles like Sabre, Batman, Star Wars, Catwoman, and James Bond, greatly influencing the visual storytelling of action comics.

ERNIE CHAN A prolific comic book artist, best known for his work on Savage Sword of Conan and Conan the Barbarian. His powerful, dynamic style defined many of Conan's iconic battles. Chan also had a notable career with DC Comics, contributing to titles like Batman and Detective Comics.

JOE JUSKO is an acclaimed comic book artist, best known for his highly detailed and realistic painted artwork.
