This is a very strange book about a problem the author made up in their head as a very pressing issue. It all feels like a self indulgent victim complex fantasy the author has. The book especially leaves a sour taste in my mouth because yes, abuse, neglect and implicit bias happen in the medical field to patients. But black and brown folk in the US are statistically more likely to experience it by a white medical staff. Especially black women. And it has resulted in harm and death. Do not reccomend
