Rebecca Siegel (Author)Rebecca Seigel is the author of To Fly Among the Stars: The Hidden Story of the Fight for Women Astronauts (Scholastic Focus, 2020) and Mayflower: The Ship that Started a Nation (Quarto, 2020), a 2021 EUREKA! Nonfiction Children's Honor Book. Rebecca has a master's degree in English Literature from Loyola University, Chicago. She has worked in children's publishing for over a decade, editing and writing books for school library publishers, and lives just outside of Chicago with her husband and two daughters. Ellen Weinstein (Illustrator)
Ellen Weinstein was born and raised in New York City. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute and New York's High School of Art and Design. Awards include American Illustration, Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts Illustration Annual, Nami Picture Book Concours 2019, South Korea, Print's Regional Design Annual, Society of Publication Designers, Society of News Designers and the Global Art Directors Club. Ellen's work is in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress.
